"That got me thinking…"

Pansies are an obvious choice, especially here in MA, where there is a long cool start to the growing season.

Note: I originally wrote this post in July, but for some odd reason I did not post it then. So…here you go, in October, when of course everything looks different. Hmmm, a reason to take more pics and write a new post!

I’ve been fooling around with this cool new app: Aviary. I guess it’s like Instagram or any other photo editor for your phone, but I really like it. It’s been fun to snap shots of my kids or hubby, or my compost. I decided to take a few pics of my garden/yard to see how they came out (and for the two or three people in my life who live far away and care what flowers are growing this year!) No offense to my husband, but a) he could care less about what grows outside and b) doesn’t know much about what’s out there. To be fair, I a) don’t know much about cars (“look, a red one!”) and b) try not to get that glazed look in my eyes when he says something like “You know they are coming out with a new…adsfa kla;lr hupioj uiojn.” It’s really a nice relationship and we teach each other so much, but I digress. Enjoy the pictures!
