I began the afternoon grousing about the snow, the cold, and the general lack of…something different, anything new. Inspired by this week’s Daily Post Photo Challenge (Fresh), I hunted through some old photos. What a glorious and unexpected journey through the seasons; now I’m celebrating the way that a little fresh perspective can make a big difference.
Fresh tracks in fresh snow.
That first fresh hint of color, before winter has lost it’s grip.
Fresh green (kind of reminds me of the iconic image of the Beatles walking across Abby Road!)
A sweet surprise from hubby – fresh expression of love.
Fresh bursts of color.
Signs that summer is here.
Fresh sea breezes! (This is a nearby beach, really!)
Fresh faces, enjoying the pool!
Whimsical berries, fresh from the fields.
Fresh from the farmer’s market.
Fresh from the store.
Fresh view of treasures as the seasons change.
Golden and sublime, reminds me afresh to appreciate glory.
Early in the (cold!) morning, when I was on retreat, feeling fresh and rested.

Thank you. Thanks for commenting.
When it is cold and gray it can be hard to find the motivation to get going. I like the idea of looking back at old photos to try and get a fresh perspective to motivate yourself.I will have to try this one day. Great post for the WPC.
