2015 in review

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2015 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

A San Francisco cable car holds 60 people. This blog was viewed about 2,800 times in 2015. If it were a cable car, it would take about 47 trips to carry that many people.

Here are a few of my favorite highlights from this past year, noted by me (without the help of any monkeys):

I published 21 posts in “Photo101,” a free blogging course offered by WordPress, which encourages and inspires the use of photographs in a post. I particularly like Leading Lines and The Road.

I published 6 posts in “Writing101,” a free blogging course offered by WordPress, which encourages and instructs bloggers with ideas for topics as well as directions for specific techniques. I particularly like Wonder Years and A Tale of One Song.

I tried some more poetry, about rather ordinary things: a tree, a pomegranate and the dinner hour.

I also published several posts with photographs, unofficially following a course that my husband was teaching. I particularly like Collection and Self-Portrait(s).

Thanks for reading, and for sharing your comments. Here’s to a happy and healthy New Year!
