One of the most helpful things you can do for yourself as a writer is join a writing group. It’s good to have a local one that meets regularly (mine is a fantastic group of ladies, we rotate houses and try new foods each time) but it can be good to expand and join a regional or national group as well. I’ve been connected with reNEW – Spiritual Retreat for Writers and Speakers and between these two groups, I’ve been motivated, encouraged, connected and equipped to continue on the writing journey.
On May 16, 2022 the reNEW group published a book! It’s a compilation of devotionals, written by 62 alum of reNew, and I’m one of the contributing writers. This collection is so lovely, and is sure to inspire you whatever stage of the process you are in. You can, of course, purchase this book on amazon (if you do, and are so inclined, please leave a review! That really helps authors out).
