About Jennifer

My passion is to provide space for people to connect with God through my writing and photography, and by offering Spiritual Direction.

Having completed my spiritual direction training in 2104 though the Anglican Diocese of New England, and offered spiritual direction since then in a variety of contexts, I am now working as the assistant in this training program. I’m continuing to practice deep listening to God through courses at the Pax Center for Spirituality and online at Abbey for the Arts. You can contact me if you’d like to know more about spiritual direction, or are interested in meeting with me in person or online.

In addition to this blog, my writing has appeared in other blogs, including Epiphany New England, The Gordon-Conwell Blog on Discipleship and Crossroads Anglican Church. I’m also a contributing author to the recently published devotional The Courage to Write! I do have signed author copies, so please contact me if you’d like to purchase one.

My husband and I have a side business: Drum Drum Photo. It’s been a pleasure see that taking shape. Please contact me if you are interested in a custom calendar, note cards or prints of any of my photos, or are looking for family, lifestyle or wedding photographs.

I live with my husband, two teenagers, and one sweet puppy in the lovely community of Asbury Grove. You can find me photographing flowers and trees, writing poetry and looking for beauty all around. In addition to providing spiritual direction and blogging, I read voraciously by the fireplace.

  1. Hi Jennifer, my dad loved Salem and brought us there several weekends as children. We loved the House of Seven Gables and your wonderful town. I hope to visit again with my own sons. I have had aspirations for a Halloween trip but it probably is not the best time due to crowds. I hear that Rockport is beautiful too! Thanks for following and have great day!

    • Thanks, Kathy. We’ve really enjoyed living here as well, and yes while October is a very fun month to be here, the downside is major traffic… Thanks for stopping by.
